Dr Andrew Davies is a consultant Physician at City Hospitals Sunderland where he heads the Falls and Syncope Service. He is a Newcastle graduate from 1990 and the father of a psychologist (daughter) and a singer/song writer (son).
He is involved in teaching and training as a Foundation Programme Director for the Northern Foundation School and chair of the national Foundation E-portfolio Trainees Advisory Group (eTAG). He is currently acting undergraduate programme lead for the new University of Sunderland Medical school.
At the weekends a walk in the Yorkshire Dales is his preferred mode of relaxation.
